How listing works
Sign up with your email. No credit card required to list a project.
Add your pitch, hero image, category, funding goal, milestone breakdown, and backer perks. A strong pitch has a clear problem, a concrete solution, and a realistic milestone plan.
To accept pledges, connect your Stripe account from the project dashboard. This takes about 5 minutes. Stripe handles all payment processing and payouts.
Every campaign that requests funding goes through a brief review before going live. We check that the project is real, the pitch is honest, and the goal is achievable. Most reviews complete within 24 hours.
Once approved, your project appears in the feed. Share the link with your community. Backers who pledged early get their perks; you get funded; you build.
When your campaign reaches its goal by the deadline, all pledges are captured at once and paid out — minus the 5% platform fee. If the goal isn't met, all authorizations are released and backers pay nothing. Update backers publicly as you build.
Tips for a strong campaign
- ✓Set a realistic goal. Under-promise and over-deliver. Backers who see a project hit 120% of goal get excited. Backers who see 30% funded feel burned.
- ✓Use a real hero image. A screenshot of your UI, a diagram, or even a well-designed mockup performs far better than stock photos.
- ✓Break down milestones concretely. "Launch MVP" is not a milestone. "Deploy auth + core CRUD to production" is.
- ✓Offer something real as a perk. Lifetime access, early beta access, or a thank-you in your readme — backers like to feel they got something for believing early.
- ✓Share before you launch. Tell your Twitter/X followers, Discord, or newsletter the day before you go live. The first 48 hours of social proof matter a lot.
